On one lovely sunny autumnal day, I was searching for a good colourful spot to photograph... and found a nice one. It was a little charming garden filled with play of autumnal colours and framed into golden foliage. When I looked for a better position to capture it I suddenly saw its reflections in the building across the road. Being on a wave of triptych and diptych I liked it immediately :-) It was like peeping in at another dimension!
So, what was found by accident has become an interesting spot to observe changes through the seasons! I have completed 52 weeks, the whole year, capturing the reflected garden.
Just to give you a taste of what it was like, I have chosen one for each season to show here.
Note: White lines are the gaps between the mirrored windows on this building!

You are welcome to look through the whole 52 weeks at my Flickr gallery, where each picture accompanied my insights and comments of my Flickr friends. You also may like to see it as a slide show to feel these seasonal changes.
When just one week remained till the end of my year project, I decided to take a good use of sunny spells and enjoy the garden literally, putting myself into my reflection spot. Unlike other weeks, I have used the tripod and kind assistance of my husband, so the credit for the image goes to our team work. I thought of this scenario for the final week of this project... but why wait - it can be too rainy soon :-) So here I am, saying "Hello" to you all!
On the grand finale of my project I have revealed some "behind the scene" details on how I photographed those reflections and some views from the garden itself. You may see the grand finale here part 1 , part 2 and part 3.
Thank you for watching and I am wishing you to see around and notice wonderful things in life :-)
Enjoy!
