I got the Sun

A story through the images... uniting poetry and photography.

...It all started on a sunny day of 24 August 2008... The day was perfect, I was basking in the sun at the late afternoon, absorbing the sun and playing with its rays... On a moment when I did a occasional pass  with my hand, the light sparkled and magic began...

I got the Sun

First I got a tiny light…
I cherished him just so
I got the Sun! We played till night!
And then I let him go…

So on next dawn, we played again
And every morn since then
Our favorite game is “hide and seek”
“I tag you”, “You are it”

Now, celebrating the second anniversary of this series, I have to say that our playful relations with the Sun have happy continuation, which reflects in all my work. Thank you Sun, the mighty celestial body, for all your magic! :-)

Wishing everyone lots of sunny magic!

Spring. In Work.

Spring. In Work., originally uploaded by Katrin Ray.

'My Magic Brush' series...

Painting the season with my magic brush :)

This is so much work now... to help flowers and leaves :-)
Oh, yes, I spotted these lilac leaves, growing before my very eyes... so I took my magic brush to help it a little :-)

about the picture: it contains the macro photograph of the leaves, I did on Sunday; the selectively applied texture from Max; and the photograph of my hand with my magic brush, of course :-)

GOOD NEWS:
My work "Spring. In Work" was selected for PHOTO-OP, a Juried Photography Exhibition. The show was at John B. Aird Gallery, Toronto , Ontario, Canada, September 3 – September 25, 2009.
DEBUT
This was super!

Happy Eternal Spring everyone! :-)
